By accessing or using Core Web Vitals Alerts ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Service.

Service Description

Core Web Vitals Alerts is a performance monitoring service that:

• Tracks Core Web Vitals metrics using Google's public PageSpeed Insights API
• Sends email alerts when performance metrics degrade beyond specified thresholds
• Provides historical performance data and trend analysis

The Service is currently provided free of charge during the beta period. We reserve the right to introduce pricing in the future with advance notice.

Account Registration

To use the Service, you must:

• Provide a valid email address
• Create a secure password
• Be at least 18 years old or have parental consent
• Not use the Service for illegal or unauthorized purposes

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and all activities that occur under your account.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to monitor websites you do not own or have permission to monitor
• Attempt to access, modify, or damage our systems or other users' data
• Use automated tools to excessively query our API or overload our infrastructure
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code
• Resell or redistribute the Service without written permission
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations

Service Availability and Limitations

Beta Status: The Service is currently in beta. We may experience downtime, bugs, or data loss. We make no guarantees about uptime or data accuracy during this period.

Fair Use: We reserve the right to impose rate limits, usage caps, or restrictions to ensure fair access for all users.

Data Sources: Performance data is sourced from Google's public APIs. We are not responsible for the accuracy, completeness, or availability of third-party data.

Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Service (including but not limited to design, text, graphics, logos, and software) are owned by Core Web Vitals Alerts or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT:

• The Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
• Performance data will be accurate, complete, or timely
• Alerts will be delivered without delay
• Defects will be corrected

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CORE WEB VITALS ALERTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Loss of revenue, profits, data, or business opportunities
• Damages resulting from use or inability to use the Service
• Third-party actions or content

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim (currently $0 during beta).

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for:

• Violation of these Terms
• Fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity
• Extended inactivity
• Discontinuation of the Service

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Core Web Vitals Alerts from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or prominent notice on the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
